The Lay Organization of the St. Mark African Methodist Episcopal Church teach, train and empower our members for leadership and service following the tenets of Jesus Christ.

The Sons of Allen Men’s Ministry

The Sons of Allen Men’s Ministry fosters closer relationships between men of the church, to equip men of the church for meaningful service, to reach unchurched men, and to present positive role models for our youth. The challenges and disturbing realities facing African American men call for a response from the church. The Sons of Allen Ministry seeks to galvanize the latent power of men for the worship of God and service to God’s people equipping them through the vital, vibrant, spiritual, and social message of God and the A.M.E. Church.

Geraldine Bradford Women’s Missionary Society

The Geraldine Bradford Women’s Missionary Society is called to strengthen our faith and sent to continue the ministry of Jesus Christ by service and witness in the world.

Church School

The Church School is the largest teaching arm of St. Mark Church. We exist for the purpose of reaching and building people for Christ through an adequately staffed, well-organized unit. Our departments and classes offer a balanced curriculum plan designed for all age groups: preschoolers, children, youth and adults; all of whom are taught weekly the wonderful truths from the Word of God, the Bible

Hospitality Ministry

The purpose of the Hospitality Ministry is to warmly meet and greet all visitors and church family who enter the doors of the church to worship and help them feel comfortable and at home. The goal is to leave everyone, especially visitors with a pleasant long-lasting impression and the desire to return.
